The Single Core Overhead Insulated Cable (SAC) is a specialized medium-voltage solution designed for the primary distribution of electricity in overhead networks. Operating at voltage levels from 11kV to 35kV, this cable provides a safe and reliable alternative to traditional bare conductors in medium-voltage applications. Product Construction

The SAC cable features a compacted stranded aluminum conductor, extruded conductor screen, a high-performance XLPE insulation layer, (optional insulation screen, and a metallic screen), the outermost layer is a rugged and UV-resistant PE outer sheath, protecting the cable from environmental factors. This construction ensures the cable can withstand the mechanical and environmental stresses of overhead installation, including UV exposure, temperature extremes, and wind loading.
